#9. INBISCO APP

INBISCO has built an application to complete the issueing system. The application is basically built to make it easy for people in the field to issue. This has become a full-fledged issue app with many functionalities. As in the web environment, you can toggle fields in the app on and off under Settings> issue fields> Field positions. Here you also choose to make the issue type visible in the app.

#9.1 Download

Installing is an important part of using the app on your portable devices. The application is available in the Google Playstore and the App store under the name INBISCO IRIS Reboot. The app can be downloaded by following the steps in the Google Playstore or App store.

#9.2 Set

Once the app is downloaded, it is time to link to the environment in which you work. There are two options for this:

#9.2.1 Manual pairing

Open the app, and click pair manually. The window that opens then asks for your URL. This is the URL used in the web environment. It is often structured as follows:

https://companyname.inbisco.nl/vault/

When this URL is correct, you can click Login. You can then log in with your own INBISCO username and password.

Connecting through QR can be done in the web based environment. When logged into the web environment, open the account configuration. This can be done by clicking on your username at the top right of the IRIS environment. A dropdown menu with the following choices will open: Account configuration, issue settings and Logout. Click on Account Configuration.

Now you will enter your user account. On the right of the screen you will see:

Connect mobile app
Please scan the following code with the mobile app to log-on.
Generate one-time login code

By clicking on "Generate one-time login code", a QR code is generated.

Open the IRIS app> Select Link with QR Code> Allow IRIS access to camera> Scan code by means of the camera that opens automatically.

Note: Settings must be done per user.

#9.3 Use

#9.3.1 Notifications

Notifications in the app are very useful. Afther the scanning of the code the app asks whether IRIS is allowed to send notifications to the mobile device. This gives the app permission to show notifications on your device.

#9.3.2 No internet

If you create an issue while you have no internet, it is saved so you can send it when you have internet again. This way, the issue is never lost.

#9.3.3 Dashboard

The dashboard shows all tasks that are normally also shown in the web environment. The views can also be turned on with the filter icon at the top left of the screen.

To open an issue, you can click on the relevant issue. The issue file will open, after which all entered information can be viewed, changed or supplemented.

#9.3.4 Create

You can create an issue by pressing the + at the bottom right of the screen. After this, a new screen will appear where you can select the issue type. Select the type of issue here and continue to fill in the form.

The issue form is the same as the set form as in the web environment. When this is filled in, the issue can be sent at the top right of the screen by clicking on the paper airplane icon.

#9.3.5 Info

This contains all the information that has been submitted by the issueer or that has been supplemented by the issue owner. You can edit the message by pressing the edit button at the top right, it is designed in the form of a pencil.

#9.3.6 Tasks

If a task is linked to a person, that person receives a pop-up on his phone, which immediately refers to the relevant issue. The person can see which tasks are linked to the issue under the tasks tab. Note, tasks can only be created in the web environment. The app is not suitable for this.

#9.3.7 Messages

Under the messages tab you can read the messages that are placed in the issue file. You can post a message yourself by using the + at the bottom right of the screen.

#9.3.8 Documents

To see the added documents, or to add documents, under the documents tab you can use the list of documents that may already be there, or add documents using the + at the bottom right of the screen.
