#2. Business Model

The Business Model is a schematic representation of the organization, based on phases, functional areas and processes. Although they are self-definable, primary processes, management processes and supporting processes are the most common process types.

This page contains the following topics:

  1. Creating the business model

  2. Drawing the business model

  3. Placing processes in the business model

  4. Creating a process from the business model

#2.1. Creating the business model

Before it can be drawn, the name must be defined, under which the yet to be drawn business model is placed.

  1. Click on ''Business model '' on the left side of the dashboard.

  2. If you have several different business models, click on the one you want to create.

  3. Click on the "Notepad" icon at the top right of the dashboard.

  4. Give the business model a name.

  5. Select a document classification.

  6. Adjust the appearance if necessary.

  7. Click on '' Save ''.

Now that the name has been defined, it is time to create the revision, where the business model can actually be drawn. This can be done by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the '' + '' icon.

  2. Enter the version, an explanation and any notes.

  3. Click on '' Save ''.

#2.2. Drawing the business model

The revision has now been created. To actually sign within this revision, go through the following steps:

  1. Click on the created revision.

  2. In the new screen at the top right, click on ''phases ''.

  3. Select a previously created phase or create a new phase.

  4. Click on '' select phase ''.

When a phase is selected, it is immediately visible. The screen does not close automatically after adding a phase, because multiple phases must normally be selected within a business model. The earlier steps that have been completed to create and add a phase also apply to work areas. The business model is created when both the phases and functional areas are placed
